Ironically this is contradictory to the very purpose of pubic hair. It’s there to prevent and repel bacteria as well as protect the dermis. It’s even more critical that the female keep her natural pubic hair for all the above purposes including the prevention of bacteria and fungal vectors from entering the vagina and urethra which are both internal warm and moist environments.
Shaving or waxing pubic hair on both the man or woman will cause micro abrasions on the dermis in the immediate area of the genitalia and most certainly facilitate a less hygienic environment overall, including higher rate of transmission of vectors, and lack of padding protection between both male and female during intercourse.
All in all, do not remove your pubic hair. Also encourage your partner to not shave/wax her area.0 0 0 0

Check out Manscaping and get yourself one of their electric shavers. It doesn't damage the skin but can still give you quite a nice trim. That way you'll avoid abrasions and micro cuts from a razor.
