Guys, How many days of not having sex/masturbating before you notice a significant increase in semen volume?

Superb Opinion

  • The amount of sperm does not increase. The balls are producing semen all the time and absorb old unused semen. An ejaculation never uses up all semen and only a small part of the ejaculation is actually semen. So the amount does not increase if you wait a few days.

But the amount of seminal fluid can differ a lot! That is not related to the amount of days, because this fluid gets produced and reabsorbed if not used (the body doesn't waste fluids!)

Usually the amount of cum is mostly related to the time of being aroused. The longer a man is aroused, the more seminal fluids are produced and ready. This increases the amount.

But to be fair: when a man does not ejaculate for several days, his arousal grows, resulting in more seminal fluids being produced when aroused. This might be the main reason why it feels like more sperm after a few days.

Most Helpful Guy

  • Note that I think I have hyperspermia (excessive production of semen) although I never got a specialist opinion about it. So maybe I don't count as typical. After a day (a whole 24 hours) it's already a good amount. After 2-3 days it's a lot. It doesn't get much more than that even after a few days, but I grow uncomfortable if I'm unable to make myself cum.

  • Days after last ejaculation:

1 - thin semen, let volume be 100%

    2 to 3 - thicker semen, volume 110%

    4 to 7 - thick semen, volume 120%

    2 weeks - very thick, volume 130%

Usually I fuck or masturbate before 2 weeks. Otherwise will get a wet dream.

  • 5-7 days between ejaculations for me it’s more likely to go from a standard amount to 3-5 pretty powerful spurts. If its been longer, it can be massive. But its also dependent on hydration and length of time being stimulated.

    • Interesting. So would there be less if it’s been 5 days and you haven’t been sexually aroused at all until that fifth day right before ejaculating?

    • I don’t think that would factor into it. It’s just about giving the body time to replenish. In the case of prolonged waiting, the body just needs to release more in general. It’s pretty difficult for a healthy guy to not have a sexual thought or not be sexually aroused for one day let alone five 😂 But either way, whether aroused during that timeframe or not, once ejaculation finally happens, in general there will be more just due to the fact that it’s been a while since the last ejaculation. Usually there is also a buildup of sperm in addition in which the body will make more semen to carry the excessive amounts of sperm out with it. But again, this is also relative to how much stimulation occurs prior to ejaculation. The longer the stimulation and edging, the more semen the prostate and seminal vesicles will produce. • I wouldn't know; all I ever do is play with myself... lol

  • Probably two weeks it builds up and when I release goodness I notice the load. Surely women have days of periods of more than less and less than more year on year 😬😀😔

    • Humans are humans. 👍

  • Well I haven't scientifically measured that.

But after about 2 weeks, the eruptions of Vesuvius are nothing in comparison...

  • NONE! It doesn't store up over time!

  • After 3 days you can clearly see a big difference

  • 2vor ³ days

    • I don’t understand. 2 or 3 days?

    • Wgst don't you understand
