Personally I think it’s a good idea. We have gotten to a point where we have 2 completely different cultures. Like you said we have the Bible Belt but even within the same state you have different cultures. My State Washington west of the cascades you have the woke culture much like California the east sides culture is more like the culture of Florida or Texas. The Republican see the Sam Smith dressing like the devil and the culture of the Democratic Party the Democratic think the right wing culture is god guns and Bibles.
but honestly the biggest thing I’ve noticed is we don’t have a definition of what a women is “an adult human female” we can’t agree on weather or not a man can become a women. We can’t agree on the definition of racism or what’s sexist or not. Without basic definitions we can agree on we don’t really have a share language or culture any more and we really shouldn’t live in the same country anymore other wise this cold culture war we’re having right now will turn hot (civil war) which I don’t think Americans want to kill fellow Americans but we don’t want to live in the same country as them either.

Blue states make up a large sum of the gdp. Separating would financially put them near the dark ages
Um no. MtG’s plan would take all the “in the red” states off our backs.
Let's take in to account that, out of the 10 poorest states I. The nation, 8 of them are red states. Meanwhile 4 blue states alone contribute 30.2% of the gdp with California being at 14.8%. Tell me again how MTG's plan is beneficial for the red states?
I think we’re saying the same thing. Red states are in the red.

I support it to an extent in that we kinda have that. If you are in California, stay there! Leave ohio to republicans, take ny to democrats and leave Texas to republicans. keep dividing... just stop moving around. but it just leads to more illegal immigration and possibly war as the blue state people try to escape the mess they make and live in.
i'd be cool without the red and blue. i don't think most people fall into those two categories anyway. they are forced into those options by themselves. trump being elected was the result of freethinkers. trump isn't really a republican

That would never work because you can't split America geographically like that. There are plenty of people in the south who are liberal and plenty of people in the north who are conservative. You would still run into the same problems we have now.. which by the way has been engineered to happen on purpose by our politicians.
They have the same Senators, but A LOT ffewer representatives. That was made a thing when The Constitution was written.
