  • My mother threw everything out. She threw away my comic book collection when I went away to college. I would be retired now if she didn't do that.

    • Same with me. I don’t think any of my stuff was valuable, but all of it was thrown away by my parents without me having a say in it. I had planned to keep them forever. I held onto them until my late 20’s so I’d had them for quite a while…many since the age of 3.

    • @Flower7 yes, sometimes it feels like my past never really happened

    • Thanks for the MHO😎

  • I threw most of them out when I moved out and gave the rest to my brother and sister. Too many crappy memories attached to them.

  • None at all.

  • We moved constantly growing up I went to 9 different schools and sometimes moved more than once in the same school district. We we're very poor (welfare) so I didn't have much, almost all my things I perchased myself using money I made working odd jobs , yard work for neighbors etc and often I'd lose what little I had during the move.

If you walked into my room when I was 17 you probably would assume it was an unused room as I didn't really own anything at all.

  • None, thanks to me evil greedy ex-sisters!!

  • None. Had I known these things would be so valuable as a kid, I could fuckin retire by now.

  • My wife has saved several toys from our children. Our youngest is 32. I think it's a little nostalgic. Of course we do not have all their toys. He was special ones.

  • Closer to 0% but I kept the Batmobile because it is quite valuable.

  • Absolutely no
