Because they are told by the media and almost everyone in their world their entire life that having a small one is bad.

Just like women are told they must be pretty or skinny or pure or just the right amount of slutty, that they should be maternal or whatever blah blah blah.

Sure is a fucking mystery huh why a social creature would feel under pressure to comform to the expectations of the group who they rely upon for their survival.

And yes, it does matter to a certain extent. There is such a thing as too small and too big. And it does cause issues within a relationship.
