Nope. Just the wedding day. Many people have a rehearsal the day before followed by a rehearsal dinner so of course the bride and groom see each other the night before
I was exhausted and so was she. We had two receptions plus the wedding and all three were an absolute blast. We were at a hotel near the airport that night as we were going on an international flight. We only had 6 hours at the hotel but as tired as I was, I wanted to consummate the marriage even though it was far from our first time. The next day at our resort I carried her over the threshold as well just to do it all.

Well never been married but I feel that could be a given but yeah the after-party might throw a monkey wrench it that plan. I don't really drink so maybe we won't have alcoholic drinks except maybe champagne or wine.

It usually depends on the woman. Sometimes she is too caught up in the hoopla of the moment of a wedding, they forget that they are actually married and need to pay attention to the guy, there significant other. But I suspect there are still a lot of couples that do
