How many sexual partners makes a girl a slut?

The Oxford dictionary defines slut as a woman with many casual sex partners. And your mind what number of partners would qualify a woman as a slut?

Mathematically speaking, any number greater than 1 is "many".

So Punkbuster107, does that mean every girl who isn't abstinent outside of a single marriage a slut? No. It means we should stop using the word slut at all. If it were to be used, its only fair it should be said of men and women alike, with no double standard, but I don't suggest that either (though me and my fiancée are in fact abstinent until marriage)

Here's some advice: best to pretend you never knew that word. It only exists to bring pain to others, and I see no use of it that benefits anyone.

Number is irrelevant to me. Responsibility and tact is everything. screw around if you want but I think girls who are "sluts" do things like accidentally get pregnant after recklessly not taking precautions or have sex I. full public view. As long as your lifestyle results in 0 unwanted children, no outraging public decency and being able to do your job, as far as I'm concerned you're not a slut.

So my question to you is, how many times are you going to ask this question?
The answer is subjective. You think a slut has been with more than 3 guys or whatever the number, other guys say 100.

The way I view it:
When she values sleeping around more than being in a relationship, she is a slut.
When she just did not find the right partner yet, she isn't. Even when she spends her time being single boning hundreds of guys.

Actually more than one. If you have casual sex with anyone your a slut by definition. The key word is casual. Sex should at least be reserved for someone you love and have intentions of keeping. But most all guys like sluts. You must be quit popular.

The same number that makes a man a slut. To me it is less about the number and more about how they get them. Met him or her 10 minutes ago and doing the deed... you're a slut. You have had 90 lovers but where in a relationship with all of them. You need to work on your ability to hold a relationship, but I won't call you a slut.
