How much sexting is too much sexting?

This guy I know always sexts me. How much sexting is too much sexting? I think if a person is sexting they definitely aren't getting laid. I'm curious to hear your thoughts...

I dont sext at all. I prefer to do that in person. I'm currently talking to a girl and we've met up a few times but I don't sext her. The reason I don't sext is because I remember way back when cell phones were just starting to get cameras on them. All the kids including me had one. Before you know it there were stories of girls nudes being circulated ans girls were beinf humiliated and publicly shamed. So I decided "hell no im not getting mixed up in all that shit"

So for me I think anything outside of once or twice a week is asking for sexts and nudes too often.

If he is sexting you, then you are sexting him at the same time. Why do you think it is too much if you are doing it also. Sexting can be in addition to sex or in place of sex. If it is in place of sex, it is different, but at lest it is safe from STIs and the like. If you both enjoy it, then nothing wrong with it or the amount.

I come to find that a lot of boys around my age are becoming reliant on sexting and fantasies. Versus going out and meeting the girl in person. It's like they are more confident on their phones than in person. It can't be healthy. I mean I'm a girl and when I like someone I want to meet up. It's weird that boys will like me a lot and never meet up.

When it gets to the point where you feel you're being used. I would question if you're getting cafished, because most guys want to hook up sooner than later and not just rely on sexitng. You're hunch is correct, but some guys really are that horny.

I think every once in awhile is ok but I much rather have to real thing. I had a problem like that during the pandemic. My friend that I've known a long time recently got divorced and started leading to sexting. She will tell me how bad she wanted me but then when I wanted to meet her in person, she would be like oh I can't because of covid and I'm quarantined.
