For me personally, I find it okay for a woman, as she may be wearing something that is tight and doesn't want the lines of her underpants to show. I think no underpants is not sexy depending on the girl and the situation.
No matter what kind you wear, even a thong, can be seen where it starts down your butt crack from the waist band. Personally I like to SEE the waist band, and the lines going up the cheeks of your ass on each side. When my girlfriend sees me looking at a girls ass, where the lines are showing through her dress or yoga pants, she wants to go to the other side of the street, so I can't look. 😁😁😁😁😜😜😜

Guys seem to do it to be lazy and/or cheap. (Mark Cuban: I'm looking at you, brah.) I don't because it's not as comfortable and creates more problems than it solves.

Girls usually do it for easier access if they're wearing a dress or a skirt. It's also hot if a girl wears full teddy lingerie under a business suit, so YMMV.

For me, Never.  For women, I think it is kind of nasty, with no underwear! I actually like seeing a pantyline, knowing she is a sensible one, wearing sensible underwear, and not anal floss!
