Orgasm is built into both male and female parts in very similar ways, judging at the very least by the fact that those who undergo transsexual surgery in either direction can still orgasm. I don't even think it's just for the purpose of ejaculation, I think it's a universal system of the body that made a convenient way to trigger ejaculation in males with the use of hormonal signaling.
