The vagina is on the inside of the body and doesn't have hair. What you see on the outside is NOT the vagina. It's called the vulva.

Most women do not shave the area or trim. That is only popular certain places. Pubic hair has a protective function in both men and women, and it is better for a person's health not to remove it.

Thanks for correction but I already know "vulva" definition which is topside and pubic part of female genitals. But it's a kinda scientific term so someone can understand it difficultly. Hence, I used vagina as a general name of it.

Yes, I am aware of why people misuse the word vagina. It's still the wrong word, and when young women only learn the wrong names of their body parts, it robs them of just that much more information about their own anatomy, health, and potential for pleasure.
