I can only tell you what's worked for me.

I start dating a girl. We start having sex. Usually, after about the third time, we have a discussion about sex and things we like, etc. (somehow this discussion always happens around the third time). I mention liking having anal sex with girls and that I've done it in the past. Some girls already like anal and will say so. For the others, if she pursues that tangent, then I answer her questions, and if not, I shut up and don't mention it again until she does. I then proceed to have great sex with her and take good care of her in the bedroom and BUILD TRUST with her.

What almost always happens is that after a couple of months of building trust and taking care of her, SHE will bring up anal, and we'll talk about it, and I'll answer her questions and calm her fears, and I let her know that I'm up for trying it when SHE's ready. If she likes, we can talk about how that would go. And then, I SHUT UP about it. And so she will bring it up again, and now she's ready to try it, because she got to do it in HER schedule and on HER terms - plus I've shown that I'm someone she can trust and I've not pestered her or pressured her in any way. This makes her much more relaxed and much more likely to try it - and much more likely to have a good experience with it. It shouldn't shock you that the girl will usually ask for it the second time, and then it will typically just become part of our repertoire.

If you push and pester her, the chances of having her WANT it is about zero. The goal is to make her WANT it - to even ASK for it - and if you want any hope of that, you have to be able to invest the time and effort - OR find a girl who already likes anal.

You can't convince a girl who just doesn't want to, and you shouldn't even try.

But if she is open to the idea, the best way to get her more interested is to help her experience how great orgasms feel when she has something in her ass. If she will let you put a well lubed finger in her ass while you give her oral, or why she diddles her clit, that's a great way to start. The more orgasms she has during anal stimulation, the more she will associate the sensations of anal stimulation with pleasure in her brain. That is THE key.

Once she learns it can feel amazing for her, she will be more open to having other things in her ass. Dildos or butt plugs that vibrate are especially affective. Work up to larger objects over time until she is comfortable with something the size of your dick.

If you can get that far, you have a great chance of convincing her to let her put your dick in her ass.
