If I were you I would take your cues from her... i. e. if you guys are chilled on the sofa and making out, then let your hand wander a little, let it sit on her thigh for a bit and go to move it between her legs, that way if she's not up for it she'll either tell or show you :) If her body language is positive and she makes no move to stop then maybe try undoing her flies or letting your hand move into her underwear if she has a skirt/dress on.
