I've met guys like this before infact i was kind of the same way with a guy for a short while and quickly i started to become attached to him but he knew he, he wanted me to be attached and he didn't care if it would hurt me or not, he seemed to like making women fall for him and whenever i backed off he would then back off and i wouldn't hear from him for weeks to months until he came back, it was on and off until i finally figgured out that he obviously gets a rush out of making girls fall for him. Some men are just like that because they don't find the sex as exciting if the female doesn't entirely let go and you don't let him do anything he wants to do to you and you don't do anything you want to do to him, see how he reacts with you after you keep telling him you don't want to have sex with him any more, if you suddenly sense he's quickly turned off from you then it's obvious he's one of those kind of guys where it's not enough to just be physcially attracted.

Completely understand. Been there before. There's no real answer as to how to get over it... your heart was in it and it will take time for it to heal, just like a regular breakup.
I believe that time is the best answer/healer, then when you're ready it always helps to have a new guy around who will distract you/appreciate you. Hope this helps!
