How well would you have to know someone before you would be willing to sleep with them?

As the title states, how long would you have to get to know a person before you would be willing to engage sexually with them (on average, at least)?

I don't think I would be able to measure it up in the number of dates.
It's about the quality of time I've spent with them and how comfortable I am with them, attraction, chemistry, and trust.
I want to feel like I know who they are, that we're exclusive and interested in each other.
