It’s listed as level 3 ‘9999 other crime’ which means it was probably out of the state but not much else. I know he likes me because every time he sees me he gives me lots of compliments and acts really nervous and stares a lot.

  Yes in the US it’s true there can be absolutely no evidence just a complaint sometimes they don’t even check for facts in what the accusing person reports so it would be very possible to be falsely convicted here. The only other crimes for his name (I looked it up as I wanted to know if I was in danger) were fighting and traffic tickets but nothing about his sex offense.

The only exception i would make is if he hit with it for peeing outside and a cop charged him as a sex offender. Anything else I wouldn’t make that exception because it’s still public information and I wouldn’t want to be associated with a man that has public info out there like that
