I'll be raising them with the idea I have of waiting, not having sex just because. If I found out I would be heartbroken honestly. Teenagers shouldn't have sex, they're still kids. Not even I as a 21 y/o have had sex yet, I'm waiting till marriage, what's the rush?
I was sexually active at a young age and my mom put me on birth control. So I wouldn’t be angry or disappointed. I know that teenagers have sex and if you come across in a non-supportive way, they’ll just hide it from you. I’d rather know what’s happening. I would give my best advice on the emotional and health risks involved and make sure my daughter had birth control and stress the use of condoms with my son.
