Sexual Health Husband offered MFM threesome - free hall pass or bad idea?

My husband and I have been married for 2 years and are in our mid 20s. Our pillow talk and bedroom activities can get pretty wild at times and, lately, my husband has been bringing up the idea of a MFM threesome. His offer: "pick a guy you think is hot and we'll all have fun for a night. No strings, no rules - just let loose and be wild for one night". He has never been the jealous type and has always had pretty wild fantasies, but I'm worried this might backfire. Does this mean he doesn't love me? Does he not protect me like a good husband should? He is an amazing husband and always taking good care of me. Is is just icing on the cake with him and a chance to let loose and be a little crazy? Or is there some sort of catch? Should I go for it? Or is this a bad idea?
