I hate "Traditional" women, the idea that women are suppose to be naturally kind, caring, nurturing, submissive, etc. But personally I see things differently, I don't know when, how or why, but somewhere down the line I started to associate what is most commonly thought of as femininity, with entitlement, deception and weakness.

This is made worse by the fact most women advocating for a return to "Traditional" gender norms. Are former far leftists grifters who wanna put the proverbial genie back in the bottle after they realized being equal to men isn't all it's cracked up to be. So what women do i like?

I like the Martial artists, The Mechanics, The science geeks, the military/gun enthusiasts, the gamer girl that will kick your ass in tekken. Every single girl I've found myself liking or respecting have all been some variant of tomboy, where as traditionally feminine women honestly get on my nerves, and the fact that there are many who will unironically go "Oh you like male hobbies? You're not a woman, you're a trans male" Is where I draw the line.

Some say women should stop trying to act like men, I say encourage it and advocate for the more positive aspects rather then the toxic ones. Some men will say that I just want a boyfriend with tiddies, and I say "What's your point?"

And just to get one last jab in. What's the difference between a tradwive and a prostitute? The prostitute will be honest about the fact that she's only fucking you for your money.

So, generally speaking - we do have many opinions in common here. I'm a tomboy, have been all of my life, also got told left and right that "I'm not a real woman" by both conservative folks and progressives - the latter usually trying to re-enforces gender roles and norms by adding "You must be trans."

Now with that being said, I also find the Tradwives very questionable in many ways. But when it comes down to it, it's their choice. As long as nobody is forcing them into this dynamic or as long as they leave others who don't want it alone, it doesn't concern me.

But as someone who unfortunately grew up with a lot internalized misogyny, it is flat out idiotic to demonize traditionally feminine traits or appearances just because you dislike a movement like the Tradwives. There's nothing bad about femininity - they don't claim Femininity. And I say that as someone who used to be a dick to other women about this and managed to grow out of it. I get that it is very easy to replace our impressions with more recent ones, but that's not it.

I am a tomboy, but I am also a nurturing and kind person - unless you piss me the fuck off. Imagine looking down on someone for being naturally kind and caring. You can be all of that without being a Tradwife. Though, I agree with you that expecting women to just be that way because society says so, is just as moronic.

I think you should look at that for your own intel so you understand what's coming down the pipe. For EVERY woman, statistically speaking, your choices are going to be more abundant up through your 20s at about a 1.2:2 male to female ratio. There are slightly more males born than females. Then, the tables flip in the late 30s where it's closer to even. Gradually, by the time women reach their 60s, it's closer to 1:2.1 male to female. And for a mulititude of reasons, mainly because men take more risks and just have the "don't give a fuck" attitude, they have a higher mortality rate. Why do they have that attitude? Probably because women just don't settle, and neither do men. The effect is more pronounced in some countries than in others.

This trend holds regardless of where you are on the desirability spectrum, there will just be fewer suiters to go around for everyone as we age. It's not some brilliant insight when plainly stated like that. But that chart is worth a thousand words and far more descriptive in explaining what will happen.

I would hate to be a mom in all honesty. Its not something i can see for myself. I don’t like babies or toddlers. I absolutely don’t want to deal with them. They are also very expensive and stressful and time consuming and all around not something i want to invest my time in… and I wouldn’t pop out a baby just to please someone else and to please society. I just know that if i had a child, i would regret it and not want to deal with it.

My brother isn't a fool. He doesn’t like kids and neither does his wife. My SIL tied her tubes if im not mistaken. They don’t like kids. They have pets instead.

My uncle hates kids too. My aunt didn’t bait him. They don’t like kids and agreed to be career people instead of family oriented people.

I just don’t see the issue with women who don’t want kids. Its a big responsibility. I would rather work a fulltime career actually doing something i enjoy. Being a parent is a 24/7 job with no breaks. at least with a career, i have breaks. I come home to relaxation and no crying kids. I have days off. I have money to myself.
