the only real social relationships that are truly natural are family, or the tribe. think about how we evolved millennia ago, most people in a wide area were the same race. So it's not true to say race allegiance is "genetic" or inherent...bollocks. birds of a feather may stick together, but then most Man United fans stick together. So what? that's applying a broad trend to any human association.
