I don't mind my boyfriend watching porn, is that okay?

It's never really bothered me. I've known since my teens that guys watch porn, ain't a secret really lol. But then I see how some girls get insecure about their boyfriends watching porn. I honestly don't see the problem with porn... as long as he always chooses me over porn when it comes to pleasure. If he ever turns down sex with me to watch porn, that's when I find it a problem. If I tell him "I'm not in the mood" and he goes to watch porn, that will piss me off defitnitely - but that hasn't happened (I have said "I'm not in the mood" before, but he didn't go off to watch porn after I said it, he just cuddled me) We have watched porn together but ultimately I only want him to masturbate to it when I am not available (out of the country related to work sort of thing). I ain't the type of girl who is going to kick off at my boyfriend for having urges.

  • Yes, that's okay. It just means you aren't insecure or feel threatened by your man watching it. Obviously there's nothing at all wrong with that. I feel the same way, for the most part. Porn in and of itself does not bother me, it would only bother me if my guy was choosing to watch porn over being with me or if it became an addiction to the point where it was taking over his life and our relationship.

    • Can I ask; if he was making moves to get intimate with you and you tell him you weren't in the mood, how would you feel if he walked off to go and watch porn instead?

    • Well, if he was horny and I wasn't in the mood for sex, I would still do other things to help him get off (for instance, oral or manual stimulation) so I don't really think that situation would apply to me.

    • Well say you're not in a sexual mood... at all. Like you just been told some terrible news (example: a loved one has died) that kind of "not in the mood".

  • Ofcourse it's okay, its your relationship. As am I, if he wants to watch it thats okay, its only a problem when he puts porn ahead of me.

  • Yes its ok. They mostly do and the more a person says no the less they want to

  • To each their own I suppose.. I personally have never watched porn and would not.. for one thing there is no story line in any of it really.. its all the same stuff over and over.. If I want to watch something.. I will rent a good movie and make some popcorn and watch it.. my girlfriend if I had one at the time would even be asked by me if she wanted to come over and watch it with me.

    • wow thats so amazing im sure a girl wants watch a good movie that is boring

  • unless you are insecure about yourself you shhould mind that your boyfriend watches porn if you tell him that you are not in the mood and he goes and jacks off you should fucking be happy that he did that cuz now he won't bother you anymore and you are both happy unless your the type of girl that likes to control guys but not letting them have sex

    • Wow... No wonder you're single.

    • lol its cute that you think im single

    • by the way i mean you shouldn't mind

  • Of course it's okay.

  • As long as you're both okay with it, then it seems like it's not a problem for you.
Maybe try watching some porn with him- I know I always absolutely loved it when my partner or friend with benefits and I would watch porn together. Guys, girls, both genders hanging out, taking in whatever scenes are on the screen, our hands absentmindedly touching and rubbing ourselves...

  • Girls that didn't mind it tend to be better girlfriends, and get cheated for real far less.

  • You sound like the perfect girlfriend;-)

  • Agreed!
You are VERY mature for your age group
and wise in ways of the world
    a real catch

So how does (did this) a guy run into someone like you?
    Please don't say luck.

I'm guessing you grew up in a liberal house w/loads of brothers, maybe Aussie, perhaps on sports team... I don't know

    • I grew up in a house with 2 parents and a younger brother - autistic brother to add. We've known each other since we were 6, so... school.
