I had sex with a very drunk girl?

Last night my friends sister stopped by the apartment. She drank heavily. I mean heavily. She needed help getting to the bathroom. I basically held her up while she ricochetted off the walls on her way down the hall. I have two bathrooms. I took her to the one in my bedroom because the other was occupied. When she came out she stumbled over to me and basically pulled me into bed. She's incredibly hot. We had sex. Afterwards I cleaned her up dressed her and cuddled her into me. I know it's kind of sleazy to have sex with an incredibly drunk girl. But she's hot as hell and she threw herself at me. Not sure what I'm supposed to do.

  • Not sure what exactly you want help with... Things like this happens a lot at places like Uni etc. In fact all the time. Even to myself. Got extremely drunk once (this happened about three times actually), didn't remember how I ended up in a flat mates bed, but I probably initiated it cause I was feeling horny at the time. So in my eyes there's nothing wrong in this and you don't need to do anything.

  • as long as you feel at least a little bad, then you're OK. We don't all need to be perfect people, but we should at least be honest awith ourselves when we do bad things. What you did is harmless enough, if she really has that big a problem with it- well, there are lots of speculations that can be made after that but for the most part, it's not gonna make her lose her job, her house. You didn't make her live a shorter life or take anything away from her.

A drunk person cannot legally consent, and that means that you could be accused of rape if you have sex with a drunk person. Being conscious of going through the action of making a decision (which you may or may not remember when you wake up the next morning) does not mean that you are in a state to be ABLE to make such decisions. That's why a drunk person can't consent. It's not because they're not aware at the time that they're making a decision, it's because their decision can't be considered legitimate when they are under the influence.
