I have a slightly longer labia, and I'm insecure about it?

I'm a 19-year old virgin, with little to no experience. Occasionally, I'll get compliments from guys so I know I'm not necessarily unattractive... but what I've always been insecure about is how "she" looks down there. I know it's silly to ask if a man cares because we all have preferences, but is it really going to make any guy view me differently? I know the adult film industry is largely the one to blame, but it seems even in real life every girl I know has tucked in, lips. It makes me feel like mine will completely turn someone off.

In real life, about 70% of women are "outies", meaning their labia minora is long enough to be visible when standing straight (like your drawings depict). You're the norm, not the exception. And MOST guys (and virtually all guys with any amount of experience) know this, and JUST DON'T CARE.

Porn has freaked out women (it first became a big deal in the mid-90s, when porn stars started to shave bald on a regular basis, and you could actually SEE for the first time), but, again, most men don't care. It's not much different than all the guys who see these freakishly enormous dicks in porn and think that their 6" dick is tiny, when it's actually above average.

Much as porn only uses men who have giant penises (average-sized guys don't even bother to apply), the women also tend to self-select themselves, and many women who might otherwise go into porn will avoid it because they perceive that they are "less attractive" for one reason or another (labia size being one of them), and so you don't see typical girls in porn, but a heavily filtered sample. You should not let yourself be deceived into believing that porn is representative of "average" or "normal" because in many ways, it isn't.

I know you're asking for men to answer, but I have had sex with women before and currently have a girlfriend. Many of them have longer Labia's and at the time during sex with them I haven't even thought about it because its so normal. And even now that I think back on it I don't find it unattractive, its a sign that you are a growing mature woman.

I think any man sleeping with you would just be glad that he's with you and not care about that, also it will give you extra pleasure because of the extra nerves in your labia. Please don't be so hard on yourself you are perfect the way you are, that's just how you are. I have a longer Labia too and it may not seem like it but most women have longer Labia's. I used to be insecure about it but I realized I had nothing to be worried about because if I acted confident then other peoole would like the things I am confident about. I hate to say I'm one of those girls with a really small labia. Honestly my labia minora is so tiny it might as well not exist. Growing up I never knew there were insecurities about these types of things. I was raised to view my genitals and sexuality as dirty so on that level I was insecure but I never knew there were things like labia and clitoral size that made woman insecure. I was hit with a golf club in the genitals when I was 8 by a boy who lived next to me and he hit me so hard it left a scar around my labia majora which makes me insecure when i trim the hair to short because it made my lip shape pucker in in certain places and stick out in others. I also have one lip that is larger than the other and comes down a little lower (the one without as much scaring) but I never really thought that much about it, especially since I didn't even start shaving down there until after I was already sexually active. I've never heard a comment about my vaginas appears and I honestly don't think guys really pay that much attention to what it looks like.

SIS, I am the same. One is slightly longer and that's fine. Have you looked at the labia project? Google it. You'll see sooo many photos of other gals labias that make you realise they are all different! I was so insecure about mine until I looked at that blog and realised that everyones labia is different and it's nothing to be ashamed about!

Guys generally do not care. No guy I have ever slept with has commented on it or had a problem with it. Absolutely NO guy is going to be put off from sleeping with you because you have a bit of skin longer than the other! And if he is, well that's his loss. Do not compare yours to anyone in porn, they all have 'designer vaginas' and it is just not realistic at all!

In porn, I've seen women with all different kinds of vaginas.. so, maybe you just haven't seen a lot of porn? To be honest with you, 90% percent of men love any and all vaginas. That 10% percent bracket of men tend to be very specific and only like a certain "type" of vagina (long labia, tucked in, black, white, hispanic, Asian, etc)... but some people are just like that in general..

There are different sizes and shapes, and I like the big straight ones, but I have never looked at girl's labia and said it wasn't going to work out, and one had even had hers cut off when she was an infant.
