There's no blueprint for life. You should always try and grow, challenge yourself and expand your perspective, your understanding of yourself and others and life in general. But at the same time you have to be aware that this is your life right now and all of our time is running out so don't only invest in the future also live in the moment.
It's a balance some people only live in the moment and that's one way to do it but I find that they often have some pretty simple problems holding them back that would only take a little thought, self reflection and effort to solve but they don't because they live in the moment.
My friend is one of those people he is very extroverted he always livens up every place where he is he always wants to have fun make stupid jokes etc. He's super popular with women and every day is an adventure he wants to push it to the limit. But he has 40 k in debt that he's been paying off for over 5 years and it never gets any smaller because he spends his money as soon as he gets it. Like one day he got some extra money and he immediately bought plants for his room for over 200 bucks. This guy his phone bill gets paid by his company so he used to let out power banks from these snack machines pay with his phone and bring them back for the deposit so he'd have 30 bucks to go out. He has 0 self control in that area and doesn't even try. Even though part of his wages gets automatically taken from him for the debt it will still take for ever to pay it back because he refuses to spend any less.
I'm more the opposite I think all the time but I'm not that good at executing my ideas. I'm not very social and often I wanna get social stuff over with so I can leave. I analyze my own behavior a lot and see if there's anything I could optimize. I try to understand the world and the areas where I have difficulty but often progress is slow because the things I struggle with are things that aren't that easy to understand with my mind.
It's like in a video game when you make your character everyone has different strengths and weaknesses, and different experiences that shaped them so you have to figure out yourself where you want to improve or if you want to just live in the moment as well and not think about the challenges of the future and just think about how to enjoy this moment the most and make it enjoyable for others too. It's up to you.
I try to know myself so I know that the path I'm going down is right for me. But that also takes time and reflection etc.0 0 0 0

In 16 days time? Hmm.
Hide until then. Don't do anything! You might get hit by a bus tomorrow and then what will you do?
Emerge unscathed albeit unwashed from your hiding place and you'll be 24, hurrah!
Give it 6 years and 16 days you'll shave off all your hair and explore the world in a wooden boat, until it sinks or you need a haircut, whichever comes first.
Give it 60 years and 16 days you'll cry out "I don't give a fuck!" and then marry Josephine, your long lost friend from kindergarten, aww!
Truth to be told, be kind, be happy, and most important of all, regardless of your age, just be... You!0 0 0 0Thank you for MHO :-)

0 14Think of yourself at 70. Looking back, what do you think you'll have wanted yourself to have accomplished?
0 0 0 0No, being an adult is a myth, there's no secret, or videogame step of progression with rewards and achievments. You have more responsibilities than when you were a teenager and no one else telling you what to do, so play it how you want. The only thing special I had under my belt at 24 was graduating college and being in my 2nd marriage. I mean, what you want to achieve, or be is totally on you.
You could be a dragon if you want, it's all good.0 0 0 0I suppose that depends on your goals, and are speaking of sexual goals, or life goals and career/financial goals?
0 0 0 0Yeah, forget that you'll turn 24. If you consciously change your behavior just because you reach a certain age, you are just faking it. Everyone matures ja ages naturally anyway, it's not something you decide to do every year you get older.
0 0 0 0Start to think seriously about where you are going in life, where you want to be in the future then how do you get there. If you aren’t moving in a direction you will just spin.
