I’m repulsed by penises (no I’m not gay)?

I was always grossed out by the thought of the look of dicks. I always have been. BUT I always thought that by the time I grew up, that would go away and I’d enjoy them and not be grossed out or repulsed looking at them, but that’s never gone away. I’m not gay, bc I’ve had crushes on guys and all of my celebrity crushes are men (like Evan Peters or Alfie Allen, for example, are both men). But like I’m only into guys up until I actually have to see them naked. But having to see them naked puts me off so much, it gives me such an ick. How do I fix this?

hmmm... I'm not going to try and tell you you're gay. But... you aren't heterosexual in a 'regular' way.

I really have no idea how you overcome this. This (to be honest) is not a normal problem.

Now, I don't know if the fact that you've had crushes on men is evidence that you aren't gay. I say that because these were non-sexual crushes. Or at least when they became sexual in your mind... it was not "sexual" in a way that admitted to the REALITY of being sexual with these guys (in other words, you might fantasize sexually about doing stuff... but their penis was never a part of that... therefore it's not an inherently 'straight' fantasy.) You may be attracted to them. Even sexually attracted. But nothing about that seems like "regular, straight' sexual attraction.

So my immediate question would be... are you equally repulsed by vaginas? Honestly, do you feel similarly about women's sex-organs?

I won't lie. Every now and then, when daydreaming I'll sit there and marvel about how attractive I find vaginas, in-light of how (objectively) fucking weird they look. Penises are sorta weird... but vaginas are fucking WEIRD (or perhaps it's just that they're WAY different than those grade-school handouts lead one to believe).

But anyway, point is, for me personally, there's this...'instinctual' feeling of sexual attraction to vaginas even though I am entirely aware that they sorta should be repulsive (like if I was an alien or something).

Moreover, I have known, and been friends with a lot of girls over the years. A lot. I have never heard anyone say this.

I'm usually more helpful on here, than to basically point-out: "hey... you realize you aren't normal right?"

I am only doing it in this case because... I think it might possibly be helpful.

Again, I really don't know whether you're gay or not. But you evidently aren't straight either. I wish I could be more helpful, but... that's getting into territory that I'm not so familiar with. Things like "asexuality" for example, are totally foreign to me.

I think it's safe to say you won't outgrow it at this point. It's really only a "problem" if you insist on being straight and try and date... people with penises. It's cool to be repulsed by penises. It is what it is. 🙂

My friends with benefits is also grossed out by penises. She isn't gay, too. She is a bit bi-sexual, but mostly because women have no penises, not because she really is into women xD

It sounds to me though that you could be asexual but you've not said if sex repulses you but I'm guessing if you don't like the look or thought of penises and you are not into women. It's possible you could be asexual
