I'm sad because I gotta get breast implants but I don't want to. Any suggestions how to feel better?

Yet I'm tired of hearing smaller breast are fine BUT bigger are better or at least they won't sag at 40 etc etc... I know nobody likes small and everyone be saying there IS someone who prefers small okay okay then where? The only preference I keep hearing is for big so stop trying to make me think otherwise. Anyways, I decided to get fake breasts to be better looking but I don't really want them. They feel hard and look unnatural when naked but I gotta get them to have big boobs so I can be attractive. It makes me sad but maybe I'll get used to the hardness! But it still makes me feel weird... Well at least they will be big :)

    In my longish life I've had one man say my breasts were too small. I never spoke to him again. NO ONE. NO ONE else has ever complained about my 32B breasts, which were smaller before I had a child. And I personally think smaller is better because I'm a very active woman: hunting, fishing, gardening, maintaining my house. What do I want two rocks on my chest for?

  • Hun, if you don't like the idea, DON'T DO IT. As a fellow member of the small-chested gang, let me tell you that I've met plenty of guys that absolutely do not have an issue with it or even prefer it. If you aren't 100% sold that you want the surgery, and you clearly aren't based on your own words, you absolutely should not get it. See a therapist for self-esteem issues, not a plastic surgeon to make changes to your body that you don't even want. Seriously, please don't put yourself through this, it will only mess with your head more when you realize you still don't like the way your body looks or feel like society doesn't accept your body because you've had the surgery.

    Now a want to is different but the reasons have to be right.

    If i was dating you and you told me that story Id kick you to the curb. You'd have to give me a good reason to get implants.

    Now if they're for breast reconstruction after mastectomy or cancer removal, then thats 2 perfect reasons. Top 2 on list why. But we would have to discuss the others.

    I'm harsh when it comes to stupid. If you had smarter reasons then I wouldn't be.

  • I really don't think you should get them. Once you see this as a solution to your problems, then it'll serve as a gateway to doing other stuff like this in the future. Also, if you are a mother one day, then it sets a bad example if you have a daughter in how to deal with confidence issues.

    By the way, your boobs will get bigger as you age (gain weight & have kids), so they might become pretty uncomfortable for you one day. This happened to my mother and she had to get them reduced.
