I regret marrying my race and extremely bored?

Question

Is it normal that I’m so bored of my husband and my kids because they look like every one in our family already? My husband is asking for another kid and I don’t see the point as it’s going to look the same and I do not want to carry another kid that will look just like the others. I find my self very attracted to other race men and I feel so guilty I want a mixed baby. I’m having full blown crushes on these other men and I feel like my husband is my friend. Im very bored in my marriage and I don’t know what to do? Is this a problem for people who marry there own race? What are your thoughts and what do you do?

You definitely need therapy. You have these delusions that there are better men out in the world waiting for you. You REALLY should talk to women who have followed that same path - they nearly always regret it.

It's a nearly universal truth that you'll never get a man who is better than the man you had children with (and more typically, your choices are worse). You are past your prime years and you have children already - the men you desire can do better than you (and will, I assure you), and the men who would take you are of lower value than the husband you already have. Sure, you can find men who will BANG you - perhaps even impregnate you - but then they'll leave you to deal with the aftermath on your own, and while you might feel empowered for a year or two, it won't be long before the crushing reality that you are alone, with children, and have no choice but to go to work every day to stave off being homeless on the streets is really going to weigh on you.

I strongly advise you to get some counselling and accept that YOU are the problem here, and that YOU need to do some work, because if you don't, not only will you lose the family you have, you'll also take all of your baggage to your next relationship and destroy that one too - assuming you can even FIND another relationship. You might think that will be easy to do - but I think you're going to be shocked at how different your dating options will be compared to the last time you were single.

I understand the attraction to other races, I've been in Interracial relationships as well as had a white girlfriend, but at this point your children's needs are more important than anything else. You're invested deeply in this and it's a hell of a time to change your mind and blow up the whole situation.
Try to do whatever's in your children's best interest first and foremost. Try to give them a healthy, consistent home life, and a great childhood.

Mixed babies are just so damn cute. I know what you mean on that. I have a deal with a black guy friend that if I’m not married and have no kids by age 30, he can get me pregnant. He has a daughter with another white girl and she’s absolutely beautiful. That being said, you should think twice about breaking up your family over an interracial attraction. Kids need stability in their family life and you may regret it later. I’d suggest trying to rekindle the romance in your marriage first.

You really have a big problem, don't you? One of the reasons I wanted to marry my wife was because we had so much in common. We even have a common ancestry.
