I slammed my penis in a car door should I go to the hospital?

I was coming home late last night and I was attempting to close my car door gently with my body and somehow my penis got caught in the car door. After pulling it out and running inside I inspected the damage, it was badly bruised on the head and there was a small cut that was barely bleeding. I have ice on it right now to try and reduce the swelling I am not really trying to have a conversation with my mother about how I was stupid enough to slam the door on it.

Well I'm not a doctor but I would say a trip to the ER or urgent care wouldn't hurt. I am sure they could give you something to help with the pain. Plus it's a muscle so it could just be bruised and a deep bruise. I'm not sure the protocol for that.
