I think sexuality is more a sepctrum. Do you agree of disagree and why?

My whole live people have told me their sexual prefrences and asked mine. I was called gay a lot in the past. There is also a lit of stuff going on based on sexuality.
I've always been confused about sexuality, because at what point are you gay and when are you straight. Let alone all the other options.

I think that sexuality is more a spectrum. Man right, woman left and you somewhere in the middle.

This spectrum gives me a much clearer image of sexuality and where someone would be. I know that I'm mostly on the female side if the spectrum, but it wouldn't surprise me to find out I'm more leaning to thw other side than I oreviously thought.

What are your thought on this?

Its nobodys business unless you want them to know, and what are they? You know man, were on earth such a little space of time, its sad a lot of people are so insecure they need to anylize other peoples sex issues. What the fuck if you were or wereny fay? Im only 18 but have some experience, im from a upper class southern Jewish family, they are all nothing like me, their so restricted and if you do this or that or whatever, etc your unacceptable. I attended private schools, one in switzerland, but know what? I've seen all kinds of boys and girls, just a few were so wanting to label people and critize, but bon teied to label me thàt I know of, i dont even label me. Just wait on my trust fund check every month and run around, sex is so personal and always aeems that the ones who are so gainst people different are thwe real twisted ones, its hard to keep from being a spectrum, its just so much trouble just living with different aspects within the spectrum according to society that trying to label feelings get tangled up

I do agree that humans like to put lables on people and disrespect them based on the lables they gave them. It does however has a different side to it. I use the lables to understand the world around me better and understand myself better. Society just needs to chill with their bullshit. I'm a pretty open book by the way so people can ask me I don't mind. They eather respect or they don't. I don't care anymore. The rest of the text becomes a bit harder to understand from time to time. English is my second language haha😅

In my case, this theory also makes sense. I swing both ways but I could never actually love another woman. I don't want to label myself because why, also none of the labels actually make sense to me. I'll gladly simply be somewhere on the spectrum hahah.

Yes that part is simple, but if you like females and might have something for man as well it becomes more fuzzy

I disagree with you there. I don't think that the labels work here. The labels stand for something that is harder to stand by. You aren't gay if you like men and women at the same time, because you also like women. See where it gets confusing

Works for me, it's gay tendencies, so it's not wrong to see a bisexual as gay or partly-gay.

It just seems redundant to me to use labels and that add something to the label to make it work, while with a spectrum you can just say something like 'I prefer mostly women, but men also a bit'.

I don't really agree on that. It's not the same in this case. Let's say sexuality is a book and labels are the chapters. A spectrum is more a number of pages. If you like page 73-90 while a chapter is from 60-80 you don't like the chapter (label) but the pages 73-90 (spectrum). If you like chapter 3 and 4 that's fine, but I don't like most of chapter 4 while I do agree with some things in the chapter. It is not black and white

It's not black and white to you but it is for others, you can be true straight only if you 100% straight, but that said if your preference is so minor that it barely effects your life then it might not matter much.
