You will almost always be able to FEEL it if you are touching that area or, say, sitting on his lap facing him. When a guy has a boner, his penis becomes erect and stands either out or straight up, depending on how aroused he is and whether he is standing up or sitting down, and what he's wearing.

If a guy is standing up and wearing regular pants or jeans, you probably won't notice because his penis will be standing up and his underwear will hold it flat against his stomach... usually right behind where his zipper is. When I have a boner, my penis is standing up erect behind my zipper. So you probably won't see that at all, even if his pants are kinda tight.

If he is standing up and wearing something looser fitting, like basketball shorts or just his underwear you have a good chance of noticing, because there's not belt to keep the pants snug around the waist. If he is wearing briefs u might not notice, cuz they still keep the penis snug and up tight against his belly. If he is wearing boxers, yeah, u probably will notice because boxers are loose.. and his penis will probably more poke straight out than be pressed up against his belly.

if u see a guy in just briefs and no pants, yeah u will notice. his boner will be really hard and it will either pop up above the line of his underwear or stick out to the side... it will be very visible.

If a boy is sitting down it will be a little harder to tell. If i am just sitting there my penis is handing between my legs, but if I suddenly get hard, my swelling penis will create a bulge in my jeans that is pretty hard to hide... if your dick is not standing up and you're hard, it has to go someplace, so u will see the bulge.

i think u will be able to tell, even if a boy has a small penis because when a guy gets a boner the boner is pretty big. the penis is small when its limp, but pretty swollen and enlarged when he's aroused, even if he has a small penis.

I was wearing black under amour sweat pants. Old school (champion) sweat pants are terrible for all guys with/without. Wearing jeans, it's not much noticeable but depends on the tightness of jeans and thickness of legs. Either way all boners get the under the belt treatment when clothed. I think small boners could still be seen.. if you're looking for them.

Depends on the material and fit of what he is wearing. Generally summer weight fabrics like linen, thin cotton, and summer weight wool will often make it obvious when a guy is hard. I wear summer weight clothes all year since CA has that type of climate. Because I often forgo underwear, you can often see if and when I am aroused sometimes to the point of a pre-cum wet spot at the tip. I don't mind some people noticing and it has actually gotten me a few quickies at work.
