If being gay is completely normal, then why is being heterosexual called being “straight”?

To me, straight sounds like the “normal” way. And all others ways are kind of like a bend.
It has nothing to do with wether it’s right or wrong, it just kind of sounds like straight is “standard” and other sexuality’s are kind of like a twist.

Because being heterosexual is "normal" from the nature point of view. Men have penises, women have vaginas. Together they can have offsprings, while homosexuals can't, and producing offsprings is a soil of all species, so homosexuals are "imperfect" because they can't make the species survive by reproducing.

  Okay so we have numerous examples of the word normal being used for a load of different things. Same with sexuality, If a girl or guy is straight, bisexual, gay, lesbian, then it’s perfectly normal. It’s not abnormal it’s part of how people are. It’s basic English on how we tend to refer to things. As you demonstrated, you can use normal for a load of different things about breasts, but they are all different. They have different names, small, medium, large, but all normal The same with sexuality, it has different names, such as straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual, well exactly the same here different names but all normal.
