Totally agree. I say lots of things that can be taken dirty. They're not, but the way I say it it comes across that way. The dirty minded ones either laugh or go with it.

Exactly. And sometimes not even how I say it. I wrote two examples to another comment. I didn't even say anything. Just laughed.

Well how do you know your dirty mind didn't make their mind think dirty, after all when you mention something, the other person has to process it and they think it too, unless you didn't say anything dirty lol

One example. My mate made a comment about a cyclist woman, how big rack she had. I started laughing as I'm a non-native English and for me using the word rack to talk about breasts was funny. He only saw me laughing, he immediately said I had a dirty mind. Other example. My co-worker was cleaning his face mask he used against dust. But only the inside. I gave him more wipes to clean the outside of the mask, he said he didn't want it as he only put his face inside. Again, sounded odd in a funny way, especially the way he said it, I started laughing. My other co-worker, a woman, looked at me "you have such a dirty mind" In both cases, I didn't even say anything, I was just laughing, and they didn't know why I was laughing but immediately thought I had a dirty mind. This is how, why I think if someone points it out, they have a dirty mind too.

In these examples they are the ones with the dirty mind but it does seem like you were thinking dirty cause the laughs seem like you were laughing because it sounds dirty lol
