I'm glad to see that virtually everyone would help. I imagine that virtually everyone would think anyone that wouldn't help, is morally bankrupt/twisted. Child rape is a real thing that happens every day and there are religious people who's simply make excuses for their God as to why he doesn't stop it. I can't imagine how the cognitive dissonance doesn't make their heads explode. Seriously. They hold humans to a higher standard than their God. WTF? 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

  • Doesn't matter if it's a child or an adult. I'd definitely do my best to save the victim.

  • Hell yeah I would what do I look like a god

  • Man I am legitimately curious as to the 2 guys who voted No to this question. I am curious what are your reasons? Are you being serious? Or are you simply trying g to be edgy, get attention, troll etc etc.

  • I'd not only stop the attack, I'd use lethal force to do so.

    • Per the update, I'd imagine the only people who wouldn't help are probably waiting their turn. I say this as I was raped as a child, also hence why I'd have no issues, making sure they will never EVER do it again to anyone else EVER.

    • I agree with you. It truly truly boggles my mind how people can justify things like that. But billions of people justify it everyday. Again, I don't know why their heads don't explode.

  • I have a very generic gun for that reason alone. Quick easy murder of the rapist. Pick up my casing and then leave the scene hoping there were no cameras and nobody saw me. I would then call the police anonymously and find a place that wasn't suspicious but was in clear sight of the traumatized child. I would then hope that the police ignore the murder and just be happy the child is not dead somewhere

  • I can't believe this is even a question. Of COURSE I'd help. Just READING this makes me mad. Obviously, if I had one of our rifles, that would help. But, even though I'm not very big, I'd take what little MA training I DO have and I would do what I could to stop the guy. I might not be able to take him down, but if I could delay him, the child might be able to get away or maybe someone bigger would come along and take the guy down. People who hurt kids should... never mind. It just shouldn't happen.

  • I would save anyone from getting raped. But I do worry about how badly i’d hurt the rapist because I dont want to go to jail for
going to far. I likely would’ve taken the nearest object and bashed them over the head with it

    • A prosecutor would need to charge you and a jury would have to convict you and most of them would not based on the situation. In my state the law says that you may use force up to and including deadly force to protect from death or "serious bodily harm" and I know that rape has been included within the sphere of serious bodily harm. I am fairly certain that all of the states have similar language. The one requirement is that you have to use the least force necessary, but an argument can always be made that in the heat of the moment he least force isn't always clear.

    • @MrtoddsWildRide yea but i dont want to kill anyone. Only badly wound so that i can have enough time to save the person and call the cops

    • Well yes, but m ypoint is that whatever amount of force you use, it is covered.
