I didn't get the talk til i was 24 but by then it was too late cause i had already done stuff at 15. I was heavily and negatively influenced by friends/bfs and peer pressured. So i definitely want to talk with my kid about it once they hit middle school and i’ll just pray im not too late because i dont feel comfortable (nor that its necessary) having that talk with them at age 12 and under. I dont even want my kid dating until they’re at least 16. I will let them know ahead of time that all dates will supervised until they’re 18. If they want to get buckwild by 18 then thats on them as long as theyve moved out and gone off to college. But anything before that will cause them to be punished and lose trust and the opportunity to do lots of things without a chaperone

It would depend upon her age. If I thought she is mature and sensible enough then I would remind her of all of our conversations about sex and relationships and make sure she is being safe and sensible.

I was 12 when my girlfriend and I did pretty much everything but sex and I was 14 when I had sex. I don't think any parent wants to hear there underage daughter is sexually active but it happens to most. I think instead of getting pissed it would be better to be willing to discuss things and maybe take her to see a doctor for birth control.
