Guys, If you lock eyes with a girl you are attracted to, is it always sexual tension you feel?

Depends if I'm physically attracted to her or romantically and physically attracted to her.

If I'm just physically attracted to her then I don't feel anything unless she excites me like touch me or looks at me too long or something obvious then I feel my sexual energy raise.

If it's both romantic and physical attraction then my energy is always raised but it's less sexual, I'm also interested in what she thinks about things whereas with a girl I'm just sexually attracted to I don't care what she thinks I'm just bringing sexual energy and bravado.

I want to add. For a lot of guys, there are girls they are attracted to but won't make a move because she's not wife material or she's attractive enough to get into bed with. But putting in the effort to get her into bed just isn't worth it when you can use it to court the girl of your dreams. So if they make eye contact it's not a big deal, she's really not worth the time. Only if she's signalling that she's going to make it easy for him, like touching him or being the aggressor then he may feel it is worth it to make a move, but only on a sexual level.

Nope, usually curiosity.

it varies between type of girl situation, surrounding, huge number of factors.

at this point you don’t know if she is married, dating, bi, gay, straight, a raving psycho

so it starts with curiosity, the brain seeking certain answers to make a decision.

I can actually manage to look at a girl, lock eyes etc, without thinking instantly of sex or romance.

Even then there is curiosity, you know you are attracted but. Usually you do not know why or want to know if there is more to the attraction. Then it’s time to flirt and see what happens,

studies showed when you look at someone you like your eye pupil gets slightly bigger.
so yeah you can tell if they are looking sexually or emotionally.
for me it's always emotionally, I almost never looked sexually at someone
