Guys, if you tell a girl her body is perfect do you mean it?

I hooked up with a friend of mine (totally sober 😳) and he kept telling me how I had what he would consider the perfect body, and he was specific about it too! I'm not insecure acting either. But I can't tell if he really means he finds me that attractive or if that is just something guys will tell you. (He said this during and after sex) I say that because later he said he thought this girl with a completely opposite body type was hot

Why would I say it if I didn't mean it? I would just find something else to say. Also, I have a wide range of women I find hot. I can find a tall blonde hot, and a thick brunette too, a small readhead too etc... I don't have one type I like and hate all the others.
