If you went on a date with someone but they told you that they are actually a nudist, would you still date with them?

I'm not the type to judge so much but I'm not a nudist, and I feel a bit uncomfortable being around other nudists (especially if I'm expected to take my own clothes off). So I feel like it's a bit of incompatibility in interests and lifestyle although I don't think anything negatively of it.

I don't think I'd end the date but I'd express my concerns with her a bit like maybe that's something she might have to enjoy on her own with other nudists. I really don't want to go around hanging out with a bunch of naked people. I'd become too self-conscious.

I'm actually one of those who tends to be a little bit shy about even taking my shirt off on a hot day around complete strangers, and that's in spite of the fact that I'm into working out (I'm happy to show off my shirtless pics of me flexing but not so much being shirtless on the street). :-D So that's pretty opposite from a nudist who is so comfortable being naked around anyone.

No need to justify anything if you don't feel comfortable with taking your shirt off it isn't a problem with leaving it on. And yes sometimes I also feel awkward with taking my shirt off too, well sometimes.

I did have one time where I ran around completely naked on Hachiko Crossing (very busy intersection in Shibuya) on a dare during the winter with so many people around. But I was drunk and had the liquid courage and also a formal dare from a friend. :-D But then some people took pictures of me on their phones and I got paranoid searching the internet and news to see if one of those pics that were taken showed up.

Yes, I am from Shizuoka originally (born and raised). But my mother is American and so I am dual-citizen to both Japan and US and spent a lot of time in the US as well.

I think there are gorgeous ones among both. But I do think there are far more Japanese girls who are slim than there are American girls. The BMI average here tends to be around 22 BMI so the average woman is usually at a normal and healthy weight if you prefer that.

I think one major reason besides diet is that most Japanese don't own cars or don't use them very much. They mostly walk or ride a bicycle every day to get around and go to work and shop and so forth. So average Japanese person tends to get like 2 hours of low-intensity exercise every day, and I think that helps to keep the general population on the slimmer side. There's also nutrition although Japanese don't actually average that much fewer calories per day than Americans, and eat very carb-heavy diets with loads of rice and noodles. I think it's more the daily 2+ hours of exercise that makes the bigger difference.

Not super fit actually because not so many Japanese are gym-goers. What I find in the US is that the average person might be overweight (I think BMI average there is like 27-28 BMI last time I checked), but some people are *extremely* fit like men with huge muscles and women with six-packs. Japanese are more like almost everyone is reasonably fit. It is rare to spot very overweight Japanese person unless they are sumo wrestler.

So most Japanese girls have a soft but flat tummy but not six-packs and veins popping out. They get a decent amount of exercise every day but not hard exercise like squatting twice their bodyweight.

Um... I'm already a nudist and have been my whole life, so it would have made things a lot easier than explaining nudism over and over like I had to in most of my relationships. My wife is a convert to nudism and is probably nude even more often than me now, but it still took the "no it's not about sex" talk to convince her not to worry when we first started dating.
