If you were a sidechick/guy for a long time would you tell the spouse or other if they say they love you yet won't leave?

I wouldn't be anyone's side chick in the first place unless it happens because he lied to me, and I didn't know that he was married. In that case, I'd break up with him as soon as I find out about that and tell his wife of course.

I was in that situation once and I didn’t tell. The way I saw it, if he didn’t want to exclusively be with me, then there was no future so why break up the marriage and make his wife miserable too? I just didn’t have the heart for it. He used the word love with me too but I was always kind of aware that he wouldn’t leave her. He never used a condom with me but he was always careful to pull out, even though I repeatedly told him he didn’t have to do that. If we’re honest with ourselves, there are usually signs that he’s not totally committed to you as a side chick.
