In a relationship are you a more romantic person or one oriented on sex, or maybe both?

Sex to me would be way on the bottom of my priority list because I regard sex as a trivial occupation in a serious relationship.

People are intimate less than one single percent of their awake adult time, yet they seem to place so much importance on that little detail. What about the 99% of the rest of their time?

If I was in a relationship, then my priorities would be everything else but sex. Priorities such as intellectual and character compatibility. You can be romantic without being a sex freak or ruled by the sexual hormones.

Hugging a person is much more rewarding and much less problematic than the fornication itself. You are much less likely to jeopardize your health and reduce the risk of cheating to a minimum.

Well in many ways for example using words as sex freak... having sex is normal doesn't make you a sex freak. I do agree it is placed a lot more importance on sex then it should nad hugs are actually nice. Also you don't jeopardize your health actually sex is not that bad for health. I do have one question are you a virgin? No offense but you sound a bit like one.

When I talk about jeopardizing the health I am referring to the various STD/STI that are very predominant with those that prioritize fornication in their life and relations.

Well if you are in a relationship you know the person and probably have a few months or even years of being togheter so it should be pretty safe.

That is unfortunately not the case as cheating and being unfaithful seems to be the rule rather than the exception in our corrupt society.

I do agree with you that the truth is not always nice to hear and that is very unfortunate.

Well it is a partial truth, there are still people out there who don't cheat and are not unfaithfull, who see their beloved one as the single woman in the world and their muse and she inspires them and makes them really happy.

Yes, there are still a few that are faithful. However, I have been long enough here on G@G to have an opinion about the value of our western civilization. The people on this site are very representative of the people in real life and what I read does not give me much confidence about the morals of our (mainly young) generations. That is the sad truth.

I am sorry but can't agree on that, from what I saw people here tend to be desperate and not all but most lack of desire to be romantic and of intelligence to be creative and nice in the real sense of the word. But yes relating to your age and the generations that you talk about hmm they are truly dissapointing, I do keep my hopes high that not all of them but did not had enough contact and probably never will..

But I'd probably say it's something more like 'soulful', for myself. I like deep connection, otherwise I'll lose interest. They have to have way more going on upstairs than downstairs.
