  • i feel like this is a personal preference? i dont think i feel comfortable having sex with a guy that I've met for 3 dates which is approximately 6-7 hours intotal? i would like to talk a lot more spend time a lot more until i feel like there's going to be some kind of future past a kiss and sex. i would probably be comfortable to kiss and be physically intimate after a week per say if I've known him for 7 days and everything had been going well. hand stuff would come in by week 2 and sex maybe a month or 2 if everything has been going well. and that is, spending time with him for a whole 30 days. doesn't have to be consecutively obviously. im generally quite reserved so i might just be extreme or whatever the fuck that even means.

  • There's no rule. If the guy we date has potential for a relationship then we hold off to get him to not feel like we a ho or cheap or something. If we just don't see a relationship with him but still wanna... u know... then it could be first date...

  • That rule is absolute nonsense and one of the many reasons dating is screwed up nowadays.

    Personally I don't follow any "rule." I don't have sex with a guy until we're officially in a relationship and I feel ready. Meaning it could be months before I have sex with a guy- and I let him know that upfront.

  • I dont think there is a rule anymore. I think thats just an old conservative thought to try to keep women from "putting out" on the first date.

    In my experience it's whenever you're comfortable. I've been in situations where we have sex the first date and I've had times when we wait like two months.

    It comes down to communication and personal preference.
