Let me list a few scenarios from here.
1) in my country, there are "disco girls" who could he illegal. And their sole purpose here is to earn money.
And I agree in this case, they won't feel attached because they already conditioned their minds for one sole purpose only: earn money.
2) in general guys here have pocket money. And in the same vein, they may visit the pubs and call on the "disco girls" and spend a few wonderful days to a week together.
After that they part. No hurt feelings, no return.
3) same country, girls and guys real in their relationship. By the rise in depression cases here, I think many broken hearts are real too.
Hence I voted C. Both genders can be devilishly heartless or hopelessly romantic to have their hearts crushed.
Men are more capable of separating sex from attachment.
You just have to look at the homosexual communities to confirm that. Hookup culture doesn't exist in lesbians. Does it ever happen, probably, but not enough to call it a culture.
But the gay community has apps designed to get two or more guys together for no strings attached sex.
And to further emphasize the lack of attachment. Straight guys are known to use these apps in order to get blown or, if they are looking for more femme guys, possibly be the top in anal sex.
