Instead of trump or Biden, would you vote for me?

I would be on the libertarian ticket, as a centrist. Here are a list of my policy positions.

Taxes:
Cut taxes on citizens who’s households make less than $100,000 a year by 50%.
Raise taxes on those who make $100,000 a year or more, by 75%.
Raise taxes on major corporations by 75%, and moving money or operations overseas causes them to pay the extra 25% in a yearly exit tax.

Medical care:
One is not forced to buy insurance they don’t want or need.
Hospitals must lower their prices and make them publicly available to see in advance.
Abortion costs will be capped at $100 and have zero restrictions.
Birth control will cost no more than $30 a month.

Religion:
You’re religion or lack of religion will not be impeded.
Those seeking public office must sign an oath to the constitution, over their deity of choice. If they don’t, they are disqualified.

Civil rights:
Nobody shall be prejudiced against someone’s religion, race, ethnicity, orientation or gender.
The right to own guns will be restricted, but largely untouched. Meaning maniacs, abusers, violent criminals and those that just want big guns to make their tiny balls seem bigger, won’t get them or get certain kinds.
Laws against some sex acts, such as cohabitation sex and anal, will be abolished.

Law and order:
Police will not detain or kill anyone without a demonstrably justified cause.
All police are required to have functioning cameras on at all times.
All police are to receive therapy and better training.
Police are not to have military grade weapons and equipment.
Weed and certain other drugs will become legal.

If you have any others I haven’t addressed, let me know.

  • Do you think we'd lose quality doctors if hospitals lower costs?

    Just curious

    • No I don’t believe so. Good doctors are good because they have passion for their work. Long as we pay them comfortably, as opposed to the hospital chairmen, they’ll stay.

  • I would not vote for you.
Some of you policies seem extreme or unrealistic and just the vibe I get from your personality sometimes just wouldn't make feel comfortable voting for you.

I dont feel like going into all the specifcs but just to adress the first one I'm not against increasing taxes on the wealthy necessarily but drawing the line at 100k is waay too extreme.

  • Reasonable. WTF happened to this country?

  • i stopped voting once i realized public votes do not count. especially in presidential elections. the electorial college means only votes from congress count. you could get 90% of the publuc vote but with the current congress (bunch of lap dog lackies) trump would still win. i hate the asshat but bet he gets re-elected.

    • That’s why I don’t vote, besides that I don’t see anybody worth voting for.

    • You have a deep misunderstanding of the electoral college. Congress does not vote as part of the electoral college.

    • @Steve37 I’m not talking about that part. I hate the way it works.

    • Show All
  • you would be a better option than literally ALL of the female candidates the dems and republicans have produced so yes..

    • Even Tulsi?

    • @MCheetah dont know her. I'd also vote Candice Owens.

  • More freedom will solve everything right? 😂😝
The taxes are too extreme on upper class. But. I do agree wealthy should be taxed more

  • I would not because your opinion on discrimination means I would be valued as les that garbage legally since I am a white, hetero, male, that believes in a Deity. Therefore if I was discriminated against you would say oh well you do not matter because you don't belong to a protected group. If you want anti- discrimination it has to go all the way across the board not tailored to just groups you like and leaving out groups you dislike.

  • I'd vote for you.

  • I would more even if you make a solution for me been single for life

    Or

    Get me a friend's with benifit 😂😂😂😂

  • Nope, I'll have to pass. Your tax policy isn't libertarian in any way, lol. There are other things I'm not fond of, but that was the first to stick out.

  • All of you tax laws besides the first is are terrible ideas

  • @Agape93 for the future!! 😂

  • Dude, I'd vote for my cat over these oligarchs.

But you seem like you'd be decent.

  • I wouldn't vote for you purely because of your position on taxation.

  • YES!!!

  • Your knowledge of medical costs is incomplete. They increase because people don't/can't pay. So you aren't paying for your care, you're paying for your care and a fraction of the care of everyone who can't pay. It should cost about $32 for a colonoscopy and a doctor can do about 20 a day. 3 days a week at 20 a day equals 60 a week. If only 50 of the 60 pay, the doctor needs to make up the $320 not paid by the people that should have paid it. Doctors should get paid for their work, but they aren't by all they see, so you pay the difference.

Also, I need insurance. I either need to buy it myself or work at a place that provides it. My choices are limited. I am not a good candidate to provide insurance to, so a company won't do it if I try to get it on my own, because they know I will be using it. Therefore I can't choose any job I want that I am qualified for.

These are just two problems I see with one of your platforms at 1:30 am. I could give more later after I wake up in the morning if you want.

  • I can’t vote but I would if I could.

  • You raise taxes on the "rich" , they move everything to another country. You have no businesses here. So there will be only government jobs which are paid by tax dollars , which you won't have any. You print money that goes straight to debt. Then other countries stop buying it and you are finished.

  • You have my vote

  • I would vote for Trump, if I was an American citizen

    • I would not vote for you Agape, if I had even a gun on my head
