Today I went for an intake session with a surgeon to discuss gender reassignment surgery. This surgeon is supposed to be one of the best in the world in his field. He works on both MtF and FtM trans people. I’m lucky that he is from Belgium.
We discussed the surgery. He explained what would happen during the operation, the recovery time, sex after the surgery,...
Then he showed me some of his best work pictures.
They looked... Terrible :-(
Most of them didn’t even look like a vagina. Just like something that replicates it.
So if I want this surgery to happen I will need to find a better surgeon and that means going overseas to Thailand and paying out of pocket.
So will take a couple more years before I can have my bottom surgery. Feeling pretty down. Especially when I saw the bad results.
But I’m not going to settle for an ugly wound. I’m too young to scar myself like that. I should look for a better surgeon who can deliver what he promises.
Feeling a bit down to be honest. Most patients who went to this surgeon were touting the horn of praise about him. I get to see the pictures and it looks terrible.
Hopefully I will find a better surgeon overseas.

Just know that there are some, here, that support you, and love your posts, and hope you find the best, so you don't have to settle!!
Take your time, and get the right one, so it comes out well, and you can be happy!
Wow that bad and he's supposedly the best.
Now going overseas. Won't that be very risky. What if thing would pop up.
Overseas I doubt you would have legalized reparations there.
If overseas opportunities turn out another bad doctor. Do you have a plan 3
