Intimate area grooming - double standards?

It sometimes feels like there are double standards when people share opinions about male and female gential grooming

Why is it on GaG that if a guy shaves his junk he gets called a little boy, and when a girl does it's just accepted as a modern norm?

I also see guys being accused of being a paedophile if prefer a smooth kitty, but if a girl prefers a shaved penis and balls, it's just a preference.

I know there are plenty of open minded people on here that know it's all about personal choice and preference - but they get drowned out by the negative comments on body image.

  • I don't think it's a double standard. It's weird for any to shave or like shaved pubes. There is no reason why someone should be making themselves look like a baby for sex. I compare it to those people with diaper fetishes like they are putting on a diaper for sex to look and act like a baby and getting a sexual thrill from it. Shaving is the exact same. People getting a thrill of looking and feeling like a baby during sex. It's just rooted so hard pedophilia. Not normal at all

    • I'll nibble on this one Apple, but only becuase I normally love your responses and opinions! This is a great example of exactly what I'm talking about. You are of course entitled to your opinion, but to assume that people are shaving down there with a specific intent to look like a baby or young person is quite a narrow view. In fact I don't know anyone who does it for that reason.

    • I've met quite a few people on here that think the same as me. And it is literally changing themselves to look like a baby. It's not a close minded view it's the truth. I wouldn't trust people who are that brainwashed to be around my childern. It's a red flag to not open your eyes on this and continue to do it. Our society pushes a lot of pedophilic views onto people to brainwash them. It's super sad tbh especially for the kids

    • Thanks Apple - I rest my case.

  • What are you even talking about? There are way more women who shave their pussy than men who shave their balls.

    • As a guy who prefers a shaven pussy, I'm not going to complain about that fact!

  • I get tired of all the gender based "double standards" people complain about these days.

Is it a double standard that women are considered most attractive with long hair and men aren't?

Is it a double stanbdard that being over 6' tall is desireable in men but not in women?

Men and women are different, and they desire different things in each other. What is attractive in the opposite sex to one is not to the other. People need to get over it and stop playing the victim.

    • I'm confused - who is the victim?

    • You are definitely playing the "victim" here.

    • Interesting perspective. There is a difference between people having a preference for male height and being called a paedophile or racist.

  • I say keep an open mind. People can do whatever they want to their pubic hair it is up to them and/or their partner

  • pubes should be shaved regardless especially if one is gonna put their mouth near it

  • The limits of my grooming are to mow the mound and "weed eat" around the edges... just like my lawn. I don't make a golf green and I do not want a girl to look underage. Just crop the mop and edge to a reasonable length for an ordinary swimsuit or skivvies.

  • I do agree

  • The best thing to do is to in this situation is, to just ignore what people happen to say with the more negative side. Hygiene is important and to call someone a pedophile for preferring a bare pubic area on a woman is just absurd. I'm sure that plenty of ladies developed pubic hair at a young age. Hell, I knew quite a few that had more arm hair when we both were eleven than I'd do as an adult. It's your preference, just forget em.

    • It's more hygienic to keep the hair. Shaving it creates a breeding ground for bacteria to grow

  • I've been on gag for a while and have seen nothing regarding this
