Guys, introducing condoms to the bedroom?

So, my friend and I had slept together, it was out of nowhere and no protection was used. He wants to do it again, but I want to use protection this time and everytime. How do I introduce condoms to the situation now that we've already done it raw? I don't want him to be put off or feel like I'm being boring.

I can't take the pill or have the rod :/ I may try the injection but only if this goes on. I do track my cycle though, but the condoms are mostly for peace of mind with diseases. I don't know how to ask if he's clean without offending him.

Ever looked into an IUD? My girlfriend has one and raves about it. But yeah, if the concern is diseases the condoms make sense. I think you can just be straightforward again. We're not gonna be mad at something like that, as it's perfectly reasonable to want to know before you start any kind of friends with benefits thing. It's probably worth asking if he's fucking anyone else too, as that's good to know. Communication is super important if you want a friends with benefits thing to work out.

You just have to tell him that's what you want. As far as "put off" or "boring", you can't control that and if he does, you are probably better off without him right?
