I had a chance to hookup in hs and blew it, and I've gotten girls numbers a handful of times but I’ve never had a girlfriend or a kiss and no real chances with a girl in like 5 years now. Its prob because I don’t take initiative but the reason I don’t is cus I’m inexperienced. Thoughts?

If you blame anything but your own choice it shows that choice is indeed at fault here. Pushing things off and making more regrets for yourself isn't the answer.

  Accountability is what's being "pushed off". You showed this by saying the reason you didn't take any initiative was your lack of sexual experience. Many virgins are outgoing. The regrets I was referring to concerned the current choice being discussed. Losing it to a whore has some downsides. Let's say you meet an amazing woman, by some miracle she's into you. She does have one hang-up though, her morality. She sees men who use hookers as people who view women as objects and could never be with one. Or just the embarrassment of telling every future girlfriend that's how you lost it. The judgment for that is way worse than what you'd get for being a virgin. You could pretend your virginity is a matter of principle.

  Yea I’m not trying to go fishing for compliments but I’m pretty much decided on doing this. Just interested to see how others feel about it and hear about other people’s experience with it. I’ll let u know how it goes in the end

  Gotcha. Should've looked at the follower count. Since the virus hit lots of men apparently want to trek to Vegas to lose it to an escort. I used to think there was more of a social stigma around this.
