in my opinion, it's not his place to decide what is and what isn't an essential item. He accepted a job to package and ship items to customers. Either do your job or quit, but don't complain about the core part of the job, because that's what you are there to do.

Is it essential, no. But does it maybe feel essential in a time like this, yeah. Besides if it was really a big deal Amazon could just say that they're prioritizing essential items so your stuff still gets to you but just a little slower.
