  • Anyone being desperate is a turnoff. It shows off the fact that you'd go for anyone who's willing to say yes to you and that you don't really care about the person themselves. Any hole's the goal kind of mentality.

  • What is what is not “desperate” can be relative to different people. A guy telling a woman that he loves her and needs her might be a turn on a (minority) of women and a turn off by many of them. It depends how much the woman likes the guy to begin with.
