Is a man's virginity as important as woman's. What is virginity actually, and why is it important for men and women respectively?

I see, many people want a girl to be virgin till her marriage. Then why boys should also be a virgin till marriage? Why don't they get judged based on their virginity as a girl is getting judged? Why so much difference for a girl and boy? Why a boy can have multiple sex partners, but girl should have only one? What's the reason boys are not getting judged for their sexual acts, but are very proud of, but girls are getting judged?

Actually, historically speaking only a woman could be a Virgin. The concept of virginity existed to ensure the purity of women. So that a man could know upon marriage that any child she had would surely be his. Even in ancient texts like the Bible, there was a punishment for women that had sex outside of marriage, a man that had sex outside of marriage typically faced being “unclean” and this prevented from entering the temple for a set amount of time.

its always been accepted throughout history that men are extremely sexual creatures. You see it in ancient societies such as Sparta where males engaged in sexual activity with older male mentors upon them reaching the age of entering into the warrior caste of the spartan society.

First of all, there is no rule or consensus about whether a guy or a girl "should be" a virgin. It is more or less important depending on the person. The fact of the matter is that people feel the way they do about it mostly out of instinct. As a man I feel a very deep seated instinct that tells me a woman who is promiscuous will not make a suitable mate or mother to my children. Talking with other guys I get the impression they mostly feel the same, but I don't get the same impression about the way women feel about men.

I know some women feel like you do but most care less about a man's virginity than men do about women's virginity. This is only a double standard because women make it so. Also, today I don't think the issue is virginity so much as it is promiscuity. It is a statistical fact that promiscuous women tend to make poorer wives and mothers, and men know this instinctively, which is why men always have and always will prefer less promiscuous women when they are looking for a mate.
