Superb Opinion

  • That's only true in a few states. Many states still allow unlimited access to abortion, and others only allow it in cases of rape, incest or danger to life or heath of the mother or fetus. And no, I don't agree abortion should be illegal in cases of rape or incest.

But I won't support free access to abortion for women until men also have the legal right to a paper/financial abortion (provided certain requirements are met). For the last 50 years the vast majority of abortions were done because the mother simply wasn't ready to, or just didn't want to become a parent. The reasons are all the same reasons why a man might not want to become a father. There is no valid reason why men should not have the right to choose not to take on the legal and financial responsibilities of being a parent (again, only if certain retirements are met), just like women have been able to do for decades.

I think men would be much more supportive of women's reproductive rights if women started giving a fuck about men's reproductive rights for a change.

  • The Supreme Court simply acknowledged that the Roe decision was in error, and that the SC never had the power to decide these things, since there are no Constitutional protections for abortion. That means that the decision reverts back to the individual states, so voters in each state get to vote in representatives to enact the will of the state, just like most other issues.

A few states have heavily restricted abortion, but few if any have banned them entirely. Most states have made no changes to their existing laws.

  • No I don't agree with it, but then again I am prochoice I wouldn't agree with it anyway.

    • Oh and it's only a few states that have made the only exception to save the life of the mother.

  • Depends on where you're at and if certain states pass their ban laws

    • Would you agree to this new law?

    • Fuck no I won't. I don't believe in restricting ones bodily autonomy at all.

  • It is still a living and defenseless being inside your womb. Rape or not it is still an unrighteous first kill of innocent just like Putin did in Ukraine

  • It depends on what state you are in, in the US. Some states have passed laws making no exceptions while others allow exceptions like rape, incest or the health of the woman.

I am not an anti-abortionist, but I can understand the reasoning to allow no exceptions: if the fetus is most important, then why does it matter how the fetus was conceived?

  • I am not for most abortions BUT feel they should be approved under very limited cases Any physical medical lifesaving situation and in a crime in which a report of it has been made to the police. Abortion has been used and abused its time to stop that!

  • That is up to the legislature's of 50 states.

  • I would consult someone who is a physician and knows about the laws.

  • No, that is not true. The Hyde Amendment allocates federal funding specifically for victims of incest and sex crimes.

  • Depends on your state’s laws

    • And I would disagree. This is one of the very few circumstances where I think a woman should have the choice to abort. I don’t think a woman should all of a sudden change her mind and try aborting the baby when she’s in her 2-3rd trimester

  • I'm really tired of seeing the word "rape" today. 😑

  • I'm pro choice. But it definitely should not be against the law if it's rape or incest.

  • Depends on where you live.

  • Depends on the state's laws

  • Nah I think they allow in case of incest or rape or the mother's health is under threat an abortion will be consider.

  • In the US, the laws are different depending on which state you are in.

  • Rape and incest situations are not considered abortions, they are medical emergencies, similar to ectopic surgeries and underage girls. Make no mistake, abortions are done at a clinic and can be performed by people who aren’t even nurses at planned parenthood.

  • Most states that have banned it have an exception for rape and incest; all have an exception for life of the mother.

  • It's not banned at all.

  • There’s nothing sexier to a middle-aged Republican man than a young uneducated women who’s barefoot and pregnant.

  • In most states no.

    • But should.

  • Yes there are some places where wingnuts have passed such laws as they feel your body should be under their control.
